Erich Bergen rings in the season with A Holiday Party, a swinging, upbeat kick-off to the end of the year festivities, at The Coterie at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel, on Monday, December 5 at 8pm. Featuring music direction by American Idol’s Michael Orland, A Holiday Party will include many holiday favorites, new tunes, and plenty of joy and laughter. This one night only event will also include a special guest appearance by television’s own Lindsay Pearce! Erich Bergen’s Holiday Party is a benefit for Toys for Tots. Patrons who bring a new, unwrapped toy to The Coterie on December 5 will gain admission to the showroom with no cover charge.

A Snow White Christmas

From November 27 through December 18, Erich will be appearing as The Prince in A Snow White Christmas, at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood. This production will be an updated version of the classic tale, presented in the style of the traditional British family Panto, a modern musical play based on fairytale stories. A panto is known for bringing together families with its interactive style and humor that appeals to fairytale fans of all ages.

Erich joins a cast that includes Lindsay Pearce (Glee), Marina Sirtis (Star Trek), and Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother).

Celebrate Civil Rights in NYC!

Erich will once again perform in the annual Broadway Stands Up For Freedom concert, presented by the New York Civil Liberties Union. The concert, benefits the youth programs at the NYCLU, will also feature Nikki M. James and Andrew Rannells from The Book Of Mormon, Tony & Emmy Nominee John Tartaglia, the cast of Baby It’s You, writer/director Moises Kaufman, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Liana Stampur, Clinton Curtis, Kate Ferber, and many more. The concert series, housed at Barre VT in the Los Feliz section of Los Angeles, will present Erich in concert on May 18 and 25, 2011 at 8pm. The Temperamentals at The Blank

Erich will portray famed clothing designer Rudi Gernreich in The Temperamentals at the Blank Theater Company in Hollywood, CA. The Temperamentals, by Jon Marans is the story of 5 men who set out to change the world and claim their civil rights. In a time when nothing could be spoken in the open, notorious communist Harry Hay and cultural icon Rudi Gernreich fell in love while building a movement. This is their story. “Temperamental” was code for “homosexual”, part of a secret survival language created by gay men in the pre-Stonewall United States. The Temperamentals runs April 9 thru June 5. RETURNING TO SAN FRANCISCO!

Erich will bring his critically-acclaimed club act to San Francisco at the Rrazz Room at the Hotel Nikko on February 7 at 8pm.
